All That Remains New Album Title & Release

All That Remains has been hard at work on a new album which singer Philip Labonte has been teasing for awhile now. Today an article was posted by him HERE. According to the post the new album will be called "A War You Can Not Win" and will have a Fall release (Possibly in September.) The album will be the bands 7th and is being mixed by Adam Dutkiewicz of Killswitch Engage (he has also produced albums by As I Lay Dying, The Devil Wears Prada, KsE, Unearth, Overcast, etc.) In the article Phil stated:

"So we're gonna release a new disc in the fall and it's called ‘A War You Can Not Win’. We really busted our asses and tried to do some new stuff (like we always do) and we're really happy about what came out of it. Some of it is pretty different and is REALLY gonna blow you guys away. Some of it is gonna sound just like what you expect from ATR. And I'm sure all of it is gonna make the internet have a conniption fit! Release is gonna be this fall and we're already working on a co-headline tour to show some of it off! Get into it,"

Chi Cheng Update

Several days ago it was reported that Deftones bassist Chi Cheng was coming down with pneumonia, just 2 days after being released from the hospital in his "partially conscious state" (Chi was badly injured in a car accident back in 2008 which he has still not recovered from). But yesterday an update was posted on the website One Love for Chi which stated:

"hi Gina! let me send you a quick blog to our lovely onelove family,

Mae has been staying with Chi for most of the time since Chi went into ICU on Thursday. Today when Sal and I wentin to see him, he looked better than we had expected. He was quite aware of what was going on. He is still on life support and not enjoying the tube down his throat.

He did respond to us and they are going to try to ween him off the breathing machine tomorrow. When they tried today he did not do well but he has been on it before and gotten off without incident.

He is sedated part of the time but knows that he is near home and we are waiting to get him back to the house. He knows that we are there. Sal read him all of the comments that were sent to him and he knows that there are so many people sendingprayers and love.

Sal took a few pics for me to share with you. He is quite intensely listening to what I say and responds in different small butdeliberate ways. He knows that we are waiting for him.

Thank you all again for the prayers and support! He wanted so much to be home and you all brought him home to California and to his family. We are so grateful! Please keep him lifted in prayer. Blessings to you all family!

-Mom J and the Cheng gang"

*UPDATE*: Slipknot confirmed the leak this morning, however there will also be a second show in Somerset, Wisconsin on August 18th. That show will feature all of the above bands as well as Cannibal Corpse, Gojira, and Dillinger Escape Plan. When talking about the shows, Shawn Crahan said:

"It’s time for us to really engulf this idea known as Knotfest where we’re in control, we make a day devoted to our mindset, our ideas, the people that we want to play with, the people that we think our fans want to be around.".... "When everyone leaves their senses [will be] overloaded, and I’m talking about smells, sights, hearing, your body, everything is overloaded with stimulation, because that’s what Slipknot does" As well as Stating: "It’s something that we want to be in control of so much that it can exist without us [playing]."

According to Loudwire, the festival will also be like a "dark carnival experience" and have things such as "circus big-top tents, pillars of fire, amusement park rides, burlesque performers, fire-breathers, stilt walkers, drum circles made of junkyard cars, graffiti walls and even a Slipknot museum"
